摘要 PURPOSE:To secure such a tappet motion parts that has no deformation and little wear, by sintering the powder composed of mixing cemented carbide powder and nickel alloy powder on a sliding surface between a tappet and a rocker arm in a valve mechanism, and grinding the surface. CONSTITUTION:A sliding surface 3 of a component 1 of a valve mechanism for a tappet and a rocker arm or the like with another component is formed into the specified form by means of cutting and grinding. On this surface, a sintered layer 4 being proper in thickness is formed by the sintered powder composed of mixing powder of singleness or more than two types of cemented carbide consisting of metallic carbide, nitride, boride, etc., and binder powder of nickel, a nickel alloy, or the like at a proper volume ratio. The surface of this sintered layer is set down to a grinding surface 5 of the specified form later.
