<p>PURPOSE:To prevent seizure of a turbine shaft, by providing a means which is actuated during the starting at a low temperature and bypasses exhaust gas, fed to a turbine impeller, from the impeller. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas causes rotation of a turbine impeller 4, and is over-pressurized by a compressor part rotated integrally to feed the gas to an internal combustion engine. The supercharging pressure is guided to an actuator 14, operation of a valve 8 of a bypass hole 7 is controlled depending upon the magnitude of the supercharging pressure to regulate the supercharging pressure to a given value. When, during the starting at a low temperature, the temperature of lubricant oil flowing through a passage 22 is low, a coil 23 is contracted to pull a link plate 19, a link 10 is pushed by a claw 20 at the other end of the link plate to open a valve 8 formed integrally with a valve stay 9, an amount of exhaust gas to the impeller 4 is reduced, and a turbine shaft is rotated at a low speed. This constitution enables prevention of seizure of the turbine shaft due to deficiency in lubricating oil during the starting at a low temperature.</p> |
