PURPOSE:The titled composition useful as an undercoating agent, having firm adhesivity to polyolefin type vulcanized rubber, vinyl chloride resin, etc., obtained by blending chloroprene rubber with an acrylic monomer in a specific ratio, a Lewis acid and an organic solvent and polymerizing. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition, a mixture comprising (A) chloroprene rubber, (B) an acrylic monomer [preferably (meth)acrylic acid or their derivatives], (C) a Lewis acid [preferably inorganic acid and the amount of the Lewis acid is 0.1-20pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. total amount of the solid content of the component A and the component B] and (D) an organic solvent (e.g., n-hexane, benzene, THF, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.,) wherein 10-500pts.wt. component B is blended and polymerized with 100pts.wt. solid content of the component A.
