PURPOSE:To expand stacking surface by providing a plurality of notches on one side of a fixed plate and connecting a movable plate fitting in the notch section to the notch side by a hinge mechanism to open and make the movable plate flush with the fixed plate. CONSTITUTION:Notches 31-33 are cut out of one side of longer side of a fixed plate 22 provided with stoppers 39-41. A movable plate 21 is connected on the base 26 to mounting plates 23-25 fitting in the notches 31-33 of the fixed plate 22 to be opened and closed to the fixed plate 22 by a hinge mechanism 30 provided on both ends of the base 26. When a required mounting surface is small, the movable plate 21 is fitted in the fixed plate 22 and when the required mounting surface is large, the movable plate 21 is opened. Thus, the mounting surface can be easily expanded to suitably receive sheets discharged from a copying machine or the like.
