PURPOSE:To enable partial mislanding of electron beams to be corrected and reduce bad effects on the electron beams, by installing a ferrite sheet magnetized in the thickness direction on an outer plane of a funnel part in a cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite sheet 6 magnetized in the direction of its thickness, that is, a magnet is installed on the funnel part 2 of the cathode ray tube 1. Such composition realizes crystalization in the direction of thickness to the ferrite sheet 6, and therefore extremely enlarging a size of (a) directional element (a vertical element). Efficiency of mislanding correction is more improved. Besides, because a (b) directional element (a horizontal one) of the magnetic flux 7 is small, its effect on electron beams 5 becomes small.
