PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of inspection by performing pattern inspection in each network of a printed wiring board and batch short-circuit inspection of all other pins which belong to none of networks for a reference pin with respect to all networks in order. CONSTITUTION:Positions 1-5 of the reference pin correspond to head pin numbers of group pins of respective networks. A decoding circuit A generates output signals which go up to 'H' only when a specific value is inputted. A reset signal line B sends a signal to reset a latch ICC. An all-active function is formed by a signal line D, an AND gate E, an OR gate F, an inverter Q, etc., for deriving an active function. When a printed wiring board is inspected, patterns of printed wiring boards are classified by networks, a reference pin and a pin number group are stored in a CPU for each network, and the pattern inspection in a network and the batch short-circuit inspection of all other pins which do not belong to any other network for the reference pin are carried out as to al networks in order, thereby improving the inspection. |
