PURPOSE:To perform the bending of a plate stock with less necessary power and stroke by moving the inner and outer dies relatively in the approaching and separating directions by pushing up the plate stock for the inner die by placing it on the rocker arm like outer die couple fitted to the sliding base of the above of a base stand. CONSTITUTION:A rocker arm like outer die 1 is fitted in a opposite couple on the sliding base 4 movably arranged in the right and left directions on a base stand 8. The plate stock 3 in the prescribed width size is placed on this outer die 1. The plate stock 3 is bent by moving the inner and outer dies 1, 4 relatively in the approaching and separating directions by pushing up the outer die 1 with a cylinder 7 for the upper part inner die 4. The plate stock 3 becomes in the prescribed box shape approximately by performing similar operation by changing to a smaller width inner die 4. The power and stroke are managed less by this rocker arm mechanism and the productivity is improved with a simple mechanism and actuation.
