Valve mounting cup for closing the annular bead (22) surrounded opening of an internally pressurized aerosol dispenser container (20), the mounting cup including a cross panel (10) surrounded by a cylindrical peripheral wall (16) terminating in an annular channel (18) adapted to mate sealingly with the container bead (22), characterized in that on the inner side of the outer margin of the annular channel (18) of the cup there is provided at least one protrusion (40) effecting an interference fit of the cup with the annular bead (22) of the container (20), without effecting a seal between the cup and the annular bead. |
