PURPOSE:To inexpensively mass-produce, a well-balanced anemometer by constructing the anemometer with a light wt. wind receiver made of a synthetic resin, a rotary cylinder and a cap. CONSTITUTION:Each of wind receiving split bodies 10 is constituted of a wind receiver 11, a round rod shaped support arm 12 having a reinforcing iron core and the square-shaped engaging part 13 provided to the base part of said arm 12. The support arms 12 and engaging parts 13 of the wind receivers 11 are engaged with the support recessed parts 24, 25 provided to a rotary cylinder 21 and fixed by engaging an engaging cylindrical part 28 with the piercing hole 15 of a cap body 14. Because the wind receiving bodies 10 are constituted of polycarbonate, they are light and has strength and a well-balanced anemometer can be inexpensively mass-produced.
