PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin of both high moldability and thermal stability, useful for video discs outstanding in wear resistance in the playback, consisting of a vinyl chloride-based graft copolymer containing, as constituents, glycidyl acrylate copolymer and polymerizable organosilicon compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin consisting of a vinyl chloride-based graft copolymer which can be prepared by graft polymerization, pref. through suspension polymerization, between (A) vinyl chloride monomer, (B) a polymerizable organosilicon compound and (C) a copolymer from glycidyl methacrylate and a monomer copolymerizable therewith (e.g. styrene). The amounts of the components B and C are pref. 0.5-3pts.wt. and 1-8pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of the vinyl chloride-based graft copolymer, respectively. The component B is e.g. a vinyl or acryloyloxy group-terminated organopolysiloxane.
