PURPOSE:To reduce the dimensions of a whole transformer, dispense with the connection process of windings, fasten an inner winding and an outer winding, and restrain the vibration of the windings, by winding the outer helical winding directly outside the inner helical winding via a spacing segment rail in the axial direction of the windings. CONSTITUTION:Key spacers 51, spacing segments in the radial direction, are arranged on a rail 61. A conductor is wound holding a specified number of inner grooves 51a of the key spacers 51. An inner helical winding 2 and a rail 62 having the similar form to that of the inner helical winding are arranged in the outer groove 51b of the key spacers 51. An outer helical winding 3 is wound up from the winding end part of the inner helical coil in the same peripheral direction in a manner in which the outer helical winding 3 surrounds an inner groove 52a of key spacers 52, spacing segments in the radial direction, and is wound in the direction of winding axis on the opposite side. Thus the outer winding 3 is wound directly outside the inner winding 2 via spacing segments 62 in the axial direction of winding, so that a base-insulation cylinder 72 and duct pieces 8 are not necessary. Consequently, the gap dimension between the inner winding 2 and the outer winding 3 can be reduced, and continuous winding is possible without cutting the inner helical winding 2.
