The invention relates to a plug housing (14) having plug housing parts (15, 16) (which engage in one another) for the production of electrical plug contacts of electrical leads (lines, cables) (23, 24) which are to be connected. The plug housing parts (15, 16) in this case have mutually corresponding latching elements (26, 27) which make possible spring-loaded latching. A latching pin (26) which is designed as a cylindrical rod and has a bulge over one region of its length is provided as a latching element which is allocated to the plug housing part (15). A latching spring (27), which is formed from spring clips (29), interacts therewith, is matched in contour and is allocated to the other plug housing part (16). The longitudinal axes (31) of both latching elements (26, 27) run parallel to the plug connection, while the latching elements (26, 27) are furthermore arranged on end surfaces (12, 13) of the plug housing parts (15, 16), which end surfaces (12, 13) lie at right angles to the plug connection. <IMAGE> |
