The invention relates to a connecting element for plastic parts and to a method of connecting the same. In the case of prior-art screw connections, loosening and radial play can be observed, disadvantageously, again and again. The invention remedies this in that it provides a spacer for a fastening screw, which has axially projecting, pointed protrusions which are anchored beforehand in a first plastic part such that they butt against the screw head and/or its washer. In terms of method, the spacers introduced according to the invention are anchored, around the fastening bore, in the first plastic part by high-frequency welding. |
