PURPOSE:To enable the titled method to prevent reliably break of the titled hose in the vicinity of a weld end between a circumferential wall and reinforcement stripe at the time of bending of the hose, by a method wherein a liner material of the reinforcement stripe and a coating layer of the hose for an electric vacuum cleaner are made into a nonwelding state. CONSTITUTION:A circumferential wall 11 of a hose for an electric vacuum cleaner is formed of a beltlike material (a) of vinyl chloride resin and a reinforcement stripe 12 is formed of a PP resin linear material (b) which has nonwelding properties to the other resin and a coating layer (c) of vinyl chloride resin. The beltlike material (a) and coating layer (c) are weldable to each other and the linear material (b) and coating layer (c) have the nonwelding properties. The beltlike material (a) and linear material (b) are molded into a cylindrical state and finished as a hose having a spiral reinforcement stripe 12. As the coating layer (c) and linear material (b) are under a nonwelding state, when the circumferential wall 1 is stretched at the time of bending of the hose, the coating layer (c) is stretched as well. Therefore, the vicinity of a weld end between the circumferential wall 11 and reinforcement stripe 12 is not bent acutely.
