PURPOSE:To eliminate a gap between the stepping amount of a clutch pedal and the stroke of a power piston by providing a power piston which is constructed so that even if the power piston is independently reciprocated by driving means, there is no influence upon an oil pressure supply system of a master cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A supply solenoid valve 40 and an exhaust solenoid valve 41 are provided as driving means for reciprocating a power piston 25, with a clutch pedal 9 released. A manual piston 33 moved forward by working fluid supplied from a master cylinder 1 is provided separately from a power piston 25 in the rear on the backward movement side of the power piston 25. Accordingly, even if the power piston 24 is reciprocated by driving means, with the clutch pedal 9 released, the manual piston 33 still stops, so that no influence is exerted on an oil pressure supply system of the master cylinder 1.
