PURPOSE:To increase the adhesive strength between a cylindrical pipe and a nozzle plate and prevent the outside air from penetrating in and air bubbles from collecting, by forming a tip part of the cylindrical pipe in the shape of a knife edge and firmly fitting it into a recessed part of the nozzle plate. CONSTITUTION:An end part on the nozzle plate 2 side of a cylindrical pipe 4 connected to an ink-supplying pipe 7 is formed in the shape of a knife edge, and it is fitted into a hole 9 provided in a nozzle plate 2. A base part 4a of the pipe 4 is adhered to a straight part 9b of the hole 9 by an adhesive such as an epoxy adhesive. Particularly when the length of the adherend part of the hole 9 and the pipe 4 is set to be about 1mm and the adherend area is enlarged, the adhesive strength is enhanced. Particularly, an adhesive having a low viscosity is advantageous in that it can easily penetrate into the gap between the straight part 9b and the pipe 4. Filling the gap between an arcuate part 9a and a tip part 4b with an adhesive 6 leads to a further increase in the adhesive strength. Ink jet type recording heads are arranged on a straight line inclined at an arbitrary angle theta to a main scanning direction (X-axis) at regular intervals (m) in the X-axis direction so that the pitch in a sub-scanning direction (Y-axis) becomes P. |
