PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce defective molding by a method wherein filling process is changed over to dwell process when the amount of injected resin, which is calculated by detecting the amount of filled resin with a flow meter provided at an injection nozzle part in injection molding, reaches the pre-set amount of injected resin. CONSTITUTION:During the filling process from the start of injection, the amount of resin, which is specified by a setter 24, is fed to an injection cylinder 2 so as to be moved leftwards through the leftward movement of a screw 9. In addition, a supersonic flow meter 22 detects the flow rate Q of resin which has past through a nozzle 20 since the start of injection so as to integrate the flow rate with an integrator 22 in order to measure the amount V of resin filled to a mold 11. When the measured amount reaches the set value VH by comparing with the set value at a comparator 23, the filling process is changed over to the dwell process. Accordingly, the changing-over action is not influenced by disturbance such as fluctuation in leakage through a back flow valve, flow resistance in the mold or the like.
