PURPOSE:To obtain a thin type storage battery by arranging a positive electrode and a negative electrode interposed a separator between in spiral shape with a common center on a same plane. CONSTITUTION:A storage battery is composed of a positive electrode 1 of spiral shape, a negative electrode 2 of spiral shape with the center common with that of the positive electrode 1, a separator 3 made of micro-glasswool which is interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, and a case 9. the thickness of the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the separator is 1.5mm each, and the width of the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the separator is 2mm, 1.8mm and 1.9mm respectively. As accordingly the battery can be made in thin shape, it is most suitable for portable equipment restricted by installation place, or the like. |
