Spectacles with bridge and frame supports attachable thereto

Spectacles with a bridge and two essentially rod-shaped frame supports are disclosed, which either in each case carry a side frame or together carry a saddle frame. Each frame support exhibits at its upper end a straight rod-shaped connection section, which is inserted in a hole in the bridge assigned to it and is attached in it. The axis of the preferably cylindrical hole runs @ referred to the position of the spectacles in use @ essentially horizontally and vertically to the spectacle surface defined by the bridge and the spectacle glasses. At the connection section of the side frame an essentially straight, rod-shaped main section leading downward is connected, at the lower end of which the side frame or the saddle frame is attached. By rotating the connection section in the assigned hole, it is possible to swivel the main section of the side frame into a desired position before the connection section is fixed in the hole.
