PURPOSE:To reduce a mounting area in a storage circuit without lowering an output video rate by processing n-number of planes in a gross out of n<2>- number of planes which can be read simultaneously, and storing them, after a data string is recovered, at the storage circuit temporarily. CONSTITUTION:A storage circuit 11 is constituted so that an address is given independently to each of four storage cells consisting of four planes. An original picture image which is inputted to a serial/parallel conversion circuit 111, and is converted to a parallel signal, is arranged with data arrangement circuit 12 and 13 so as to be read out by every four picture elements in the same manner from either of a line and a row directions in each block (picture elements with 4 by 4), and the address corresponding to each storage cell is generated and stored at an address conversion circuit 112. In case of reading, two planes out of four planes which can be read out simultaneously are set effective ones, and they are recovered with the data arrangement circuits 12 and 13, and after storing at latches 14 and 15, they are outputted with the data which are arranged at the circuits 12 and 13 at next. |
