<p>PURPOSE:To perform the stable treatment of sewage, by mounting a treatment tank having an aerobic reaction part and an anaerobic reaction part formed therein and holding bacteria adhered carriers in the anaerobic reaction part. CONSTITUTION:A straightening plate 2 is provided in a tratment tank 1 so as to be sunk n water and the treatment tank 1 is separated into an anaerobic reaction part 3 and an aerobic reaction part 4. The bacteria adhered carriers 7 present in the aerobic reaction pat 4 are lifted from the lower part of the aerobic reaction part 4 to the upper part thereof on the principle of an air lift pump and the flooding of the bacteria adhered carriers 7 is prevented to obtain treated water 8. The aerobic treatment of sewage due to bacteria adhered to the bacteria adhered carriers 7 is performed in the aerobic reaction part 4 and dissolved oxygen is introduced into the upper part of the anaerobic reaction part 3 by the swirling stream coming from the aerobic reaction part 4 to perform the anaerobic treatment of sewage. By this method, not only BOD but also nitrogen and phosphorus can be removed.</p> |
