PURPOSE:To enable the enhancement in durability and the long time service under severe conditions by making up the rear part and tooth parts of NBR in which the adding percentage of hydrogen is 80% or more, and making up the tooth cloth of nylon raw yarn for industrial materials, and further using prescribed cores. CONSTITUTION:The rear part 1 and tooth parts 2 of a toothed belt are made up of acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer (NBR), in which the adding percentage of hydrogen is 80% or more, so that the enhancement in durability and the long time service under severe conditions can be enabled. And the tooth cloth 3 is made up of nylon raw yarn for industrial materials in which the sulfuric acid relative viscosity is 2.6 to 2.8, the tensile strength is 5 gram/denier or more, and the fineness of single fiber is 5 denier or less. Further, the cores 4 are made up of fiber glass filaments twisted in such a way that the number of first twist is in the range of 1.7 to 2.6 turns/inch, that of final twist is in the range of 1.8 to 2.3 turns/inch, and the diameter is in the range of 0.9 to 1.1mm, and further the value of ratio, core diameter/tooth cloth thickness, is in the range of 1.8 to 5.0.
