PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a produced magnetic field on the whole by compensating an error magnetic field produced by a main magnetic field coil by feeding back a magnetic field produced by an auxiliary magnetic field coil. CONSTITUTION:A DC current Im is supplied to the main magnetic field coil 1 through a thyristor rectifier 13 and a smoothing circuit 14. The auxiliary magnetic field coil 2 is supplied with a current Ia by using an emitter follower power transistor (TR) 25. When the main magnetic coil 1 and auxiliary magnetic field coil 2 are powered on respectively to produced a magnetic field, the main magnetic field coil 1 is supplied with a current for producing the requested magnetic field from a main magnetic field coil power source which performs current feedback control and the auxiliary magnetic field coil 2 is supplied with a current from an auxiliary magnetic field coil power source which has power source capacity for compensating the control error of the main magnetic field coil 1 and performs feedback control over the magnetic field by using the detected value of the magnetic field. Consequently, the high magnetic field with high accuracy is easily established.
