PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation on the surface side of an interior material due to the deformation of a base member, by projectingly disposing a plurality of L-shaped clamping claws on the rear side of the base member comprising a composite member and the like of wooden powder and synthetic resin and slidably engaging the claws with slotted holes defined in a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A base member 11 for an interior material of a vehicle is made by forming in a metal mold a mixed member of thermoplastic synthetic resin such as polypropylene and the like and wooden power covered by a surface member 10 such as non woven fabric, woven fabric and the like and the rear side of the base member 11 is fixedly covered by an inserted material reinforcing member 12 such as an iron plate to be formed as a vehicle rear parcel and the like. In this case, the base member 11 has a plurality of L-shaped clamping claws 13 projectingly formed on its rear side of which projecting ends are positioned at a right along its lengthwise direction. On the other hand, the plate surface of the reinforcing member 12 is provided with as many slotted holes 14 along its lengthwise direction as the claws 13. The reinforcing member 12 and the base member 11 are integrally fixed by engaging the slotted holes 14 with the clamping claws 13. |
