PURPOSE:To ensure desired cleanness in a specified region in a room especially needing cleanability, by a method wherein a partition, partitioning an air return region from a clean region, is situated in a manner that it is suspended down to a given height from a ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A portion, being below a ceiling surface where two rows of supply openings are positioned facing each other, or a central part in a room forms a cleaning region 61, and for example, in a manufacturing apparatus, being apt to be damaged by mixture and adhesion of fine dust, and in the operation room of a hospital, an apparatus 60, e.g., an operating table, is placed. Meanwhile, a place below a ceiling surface, where the supply openings are arranged, or the two wall sides in a room form an air return region 63, which is utilized as a region, e.g., a man or an article passage where cleanability is not demanded to be so much high. A partition 64 is suspended down to a given height from a ceiling surface in an intermediate position wherein a supply opening 56 and a suction port 58 of an air cleaning unit 54 are separated from each other, and the air cleaning units are positioned across the whole interior of a room. Thus, cleaned air blown off through air cleaning units 54 in rows A and B is disturbed from horizontal dispersion, and falls down a clean region. This constitution can keep cleanness in the clean region 61 at a given level. |
