The present invention relates to a lint filter for cleaning the waste air of industrial laundry dryers. Essential features of this are: the filter is accommodated in its own housing and can be connected to the waste-air outlet of laundry dryers, the filter is arranged pivotably in the housing in such a way that the waste air can be guided to the front side and rear side of the filter, the front side and rear side of the filter are assigned two separate channels, one channel constituting the waste-air outlet and the other being connected to a lint bag, the filter is preferably of single-ply design, and the axis for the pivoting of the filter is located at its edge and between the channels. <IMAGE>
