ILLUMINATOR USING FLAT TYPE FLUORESCENT LAMP

A lighting device is provided to connect a flat type fluorescent lamp to a frame by slidably moving and inserting the flat type fluorescent lamp into a frame. A lighting device using a flat type fluorescent lamp includes a flat type fluorescent lamp(110), a frame(120), and connectors. The flat type fluorescent lamp has first and second external electrodes. The frame has an inverter and a couple of slide insertion units. The inverter receives a power from an external power. The slide insertion units are supported by slidably inserting both sides of the flat type fluorescent lamp. The connectors connect the inverter to the first external electrode, and the inverter to the second external electrode. A contact part of the connectors is contacted with the first and second external electrodes by an elastic force. A plate spring maintains a contact state.
