PURPOSE:To use the crystal resonator as a highly sensitive sensor by supporting the crystal resonator in an exposed way so as to contact a medium and applying coating to provide the durability to the medium thereby withstanding sufficiently the contact by the medium. CONSTITUTION:The crystal resonator 1 is formed as a deformed hexagon in which part of a parallel face is increased. Part of thin film electrodes 2a, 2b is prolonged to the reached to the end of the other side of the crystal resonator 1 as feeding parts 3a, 3b and the electrodes are supported by plural conductive clip pins 4 and the connection terminal to connect the crystal resonator 1 to the power supply for the clip pins 4 in contact with the feeding parts is provided. Then the crystal resonator 1 is formed to a shape in contact with a medium such as gas, liquid or solid and fitted to a case 8.
