<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the anti-seizure ability of a wash-plate type compressor, by locating the wash-plate chamber side opening of an intake passage in the vicinity of a shaft hole in a cylinder block and a thrust bearing so that lubricant contained in coolant gas lubricates effectively to a bearing device and the thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A pair of left and right cylinder blocks 1, 2 are connected with each other to form a swash-plate chamber 8, and front and rear housings, 5, 6 are jointed to both ends of the cylinder blocks 1, 2. Further, suction chambers 18, 19 are formed in the inner peripheral sections of the housings 5, 6, respectively, and are communicated with the swash-plate chamber 8 through intake passages 22, 23. The swash-plate chamber 8 side openings of the intake passage 22, 23 are located in the vicinity of shaft holes 1a, 2a and thrust bearings 13, 14 so that coolant gas is allowed to pass around bearing devices 11, 12 and thrust bearings 13, 14.</p> |
