摘要 The present invention relates to a device making it possible, on a human-propulsion cycle, to use the kinetic energy developed by an inertia flywheel 6 rotating at high speed inside the rear drive wheel itself and actuated by the operator with the aid of a crank mechanism and gears 6. The transmission of the kinetic energy of the flywheel to the drive wheel 3 is modulated by the operator as a function of the speed of the vehicle by virtue of a kinetic chain consisting of a gear box and a friction clutch 8 which securely fasten the flywheel to the wheel. The rotational speed of the inertia flywheel is, in normal use, greater than that of the drive wheel. It is possible to disengage the flywheel in order to allow the use of the vehicle for its conventional purpose. <IMAGE>
