Transformer

The invention relates to a transformer, especially a power transformer, of jacketed construction and having a core consisting of ferromagnetic material which is as free of gaps as possible. The transformer has at least one primary winding and one secondary winding of which at least one winding is constructed as a film winding. The primary and secondary windings are wound on one another, with an insulating layer located between them, as cylindrical windings, and a current-carrying winding element of the primary winding is in each case adjacent to a current-carrying winding element of the secondary winding. The subject-matter of the invention furthermore includes a method for producing a transformer.
