<p>A device for cutting lines liable to foul a propeller has a stationary cutting blade (24) and rotatable cutting blades (30, 32, 34). Cutting edges of the blades are formed with saw-tooth serrations. The blades are curved in their plane of action, whereby inner ones of the serrations act to cut part of a large line initially, and then on continued rotation outer serrations cut outer parts of the line. The serrations act to divide the line whereby it is not all cut at one time.</p> |
