A pump, comprising a casing (1) with an internal cavity in which is mounted, with the possibility of reciprocating movement, an elastic sleeve (2) one end (5) of which is turned inside out and fixed, along its perimeter, to the inner surface of the casing (1) whereas the other end is closed so as to divide hermetically the internal cavity of the casing (1) into two chambers (6, 7) one (7) of which is connected to a source (12) of the pumped medium and to an inlet main. To ensure the displacement of the elastic sleeve (2) in one direction its closed end is connected to a drum (3), which, in turn is connected to a drive and is mounted in one (6) of the chambers (6, 7), whereas the displacement in the opposite direction is effected by the pressure of a working medium created in one (6) of the chambers. |
