PURPOSE:To obtain low-cost and reliable panel connection, by aligning a printed- board on an electrode of liquid crystal panel with pressure and connecting under pressure with a pressing metallic mold. CONSTITUTION:A buffer plate 7 is applied on a liquid crystal panel fixing bench 17 and a liquid crystal panel 1 is applied on it for fixing. Next, a printed- board is placed on an electrode of the panel 1 is alignment of both parts. Under this condition, pressing mold 10 makes the assembly to be contacted under pressure, however, for better uniformity of the contact pressure a silicon round card 11 is inserted for a buffering material. Consequently, by surface contact by a copper foil of the printed-board, the electrode of the panel remains undamaged. Further, for the surface contact, flexible polymide is used for the printed- board for pressing the cord 11 uniformly to obtain uniform contact pressure. Thus, reliability of contact is improved at low cost.
