PURPOSE:To realize the control of register modification with less disturbance of a pipeline and less hardware by selecting a constant in a constant generator and using the constant selected so as to correct the content of a register by an adder. CONSTITUTION:An address field is decoded by a decoder 1 and the result is fed to a storage circuit 2 and a control circuit 4. The circuit 2 stores the information relating the register modification and the circuit 4 uses the decode information to read a data from a register required for address calculation. Then the constant generator 3 uses the output of the information stored in the circuit 2 and checks whether or not the register having a number as that of the register read by the circuit 4 is used for the address designation system by the register modification in the past, selects a constant depending on the presence of the present modification, the direction, the presence of the modification of the same register in the past and its direction and sends the constant to an adder 5.
