The invention relates to a deflector 1 for equipping the door of a car. The deflector 1 is wider at the rear than at the front. It is adhesively bonded against the uprights 17, 18 of the door, solely by its upper edge and by its rear edge. Along its lower part a channel 12 is provided. Application: eliminating any blind spot in the driver's visibility; deflector 1 can be fitted to cars of different types. <IMAGE>
