PURPOSE:To obtain a microwave oscillator which has a simple structure and is smaller and has a high reliability, by storing a part or the whole of an oscillation circuit in a supporting material which supports a dielectric resonator on a dielectric substrate. CONSTITUTION:A strip line 1a connected to an MMI chip 3 by a bonding wire 10 is connected to a strip line 1b on the outside of a vessel 5, and the strip line 1b is coupled electromagnetically to a dielectric resonator 2 to stabilize the oscillation frequency of the microwave oscillator. An airtight space 12 is formed with a hollow columnar vessel 14, a dielectric substrate 4, the strip line 1a, and a strip line 15. The height of the vessel 14 is changed to adjust the coupling state between the dielectric resonator 2 and the strip line 1b, thus obtaining a stabler oscillation output.
