RIBOSOME INACTIVATED GLYCOPROTEINS

摘要

Modified glycoproteins inhibiting ribosomes with a view to endowing them with a long period of activity in vivo, by oxidation of the oside units by reaction of periodate ions and simultaneous blocking of the oxidation product by forming a Schiff base with a suitable primary amine. These glycoproteins are suitable for obtaining immunotoxins with long in-vivo activity by coupling an antibody or an antibody fragment with such a glycoprotein.
