To dry the solvent recovered from an adsorption unit, a process is used in which the solvent arising is dried in liquid form by a molecular sieve (6). Depending on the specific requirements, there can be additionally provided upstream of the molecular sieve (6) a fan (9a) and an auxiliary heater (10) for the circulated, already heated inert gas for improved regeneration of the molecular sieve (6).
