PURPOSE:To retain sealing by providing an elastic body on a socket opening side and a space portion on a non-opening side in a cylindrical drum portion, wherein the elastic body comprises a soft foaming body for covering an opening in pre-load state and an elastic intermediate wall for covering the non-opening side. CONSTITUTION:A dust cover 18 made of an elastic material such as rubber has a small-opening portion 19 fitted to a handle portion 15 and a large opening portion 21 fitted to a peripheral groove 12 of a socket 11. An elastic body is disposed on an internal socket opening 17 side of the dust cover 18, and a space portion 9 is formed on the non-socket opening 17 side. The elastic body comprises a soft foaming body 7 covering the opening 17 in pre-load state and a harder elastic intermediate wall 8 for covering the soft foaming body. Accordingly, when a ball stud 14 tilts, the socket opening 17 is covered with the soft foaming body 7, whereby even if a drum portion 20 of the dust cover is broken, sealing for the socket 11 can be retained.
