PURPOSE:To attain the expanding processing of a local area with a simple constitution by constituting a local image processor of a local area register having more bits than a local area to be processed only one bit in the horizontal direction and an arithmetic unit having an external input terminal. CONSTITUTION:An input image divided into mXn picture elements is continuously extracted in each picture element and sent to a local data register 4 and picture element data delayed in each line are sent to local registers 7, 10 respectively through line delay registers 2, 3. The picture element data delayed in each line are sent to local data registers 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12. The arithmetic unit 13 executes the operation of the local area picture element data fetched from the registers 4-12 and external input data obtained from an input terminal 25 and outputs the operated result from a terminal 20. On the other hand, the 1-bit shift registers 22-24 add one bit to the data stored in the registers 4-12 in the horizontal direction and output expanded image data from terminals 17-19. |
