PURPOSE:To generate a floppy disk control program by providing a sub program group, providing a table having a prescribed form on which the information item of a disk format is set, and inputting the data of a format table to the sub program group. CONSTITUTION:The disk control program which performs the formatting of a floppy disk and an operation for the read/write of multiple sectors is generated using plural prescribed sub programs (format information administration program) which perform processing regarding a format to hide the difference between information items, and a prescribed table (format table) on which a bit of information required for the processing in the format is set in advance. Thus, since the format administration program and the format table are set such the said method, the disk control program in which no change of the disk control program that becomes a base for the difference between the disk formats is required, and the disk control program which is possible to be operated corresponding to the disk format to which a table data is inputted by only generating the format table can be easily generated.
