<p>PURPOSE:To separate lumped furnace slag to concentrate and slag by specifying a weight of media and exerting the energy of the falling impact thereof to the furnace slag in the stage of deforming, breaking and grinding the lumped furnace slag in a cylindrical chamber rolling together with the media. CONSTITUTION:The lumped furnace slag is supplied into the cylindrical chamber rolling together with the media. The lumped furnace slag is deformed, broken and ground by the energy essentially consisting of the falling impact generated when the media lifted near to the top in the cylindrical chamber fall and the impact, shearing force, etc., in the stage of moving among the media. Rods, etc., as the media are packed into the cylindrical chamber. The media consisting of the heaviest media having >=1.5 weight ratio as compared to the heaviest lumped furnace slag are used. The furnace slag is thereby separated to the concentrate and slag which are discharged. The furnace slag is then fractionated to the concentrate and the slag by refining stages such as screening and magnetic separating according to the applications of the concentrate.</p> |
