The present invention relates to an installation, preferably movable, for pumping a liquid fluid or gaseous fluid, such as air in particular, charged with solid or liquid particles, comprising a tank 2 for collecting the liquid fraction and/or the heaviest particles dispersed in the gaseous fluid, comprising a fluid inlet 3 and being connected to one end of a pipe 4 whose other end is connected to means 5 for causing a vacuum in the said tank. According to the invention, it additionally comprises a device 6 for trapping the lightest particles entrained by the flow of gaseous fluid in the pipe 4, the said device being connected to the said pipe 4 between the tank 2 and the vacuum-creating means 5, and extracting the said particles from the pipe 4.
