PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the coercive force by adding an oxide of a rare earth element R. CONSTITUTION:To an R-B-Fe system alloy powder having R (R is at least one kind of the rare earth elements containing Y), B and Fe as the essential components or a mixed powder becoming the same composition as that, an R-oxide powder is blended by 0.05-5.5wt%, and mixing, forming, sintering and heat treatment are performed. Sintering is preferably performed in a on- oxide atmosphere for preventing the oxidation of the R element. That is, a vacuum, inert gas or reducing gas atmosphere is desirable. |
