PURPOSE:To promote the heating and cooling of hydrogen absorbing alloy to shorten a time for the absorption and blowoff of the hydrogen by mounting a honeycomb construction as a heat conductor in a container for the hydrogen absorbing alloy. CONSTITUTION:A container for hydrogen absorbing alloy 1 is shaped like a cylinder. Its one end is sealed, and the other end is provided with a hydrogen nozzle 2. A honeycomb construction 3 made of material having excellent thermal conductivity such as Al, Cu etc. is mounted in the container for the hydrogen absorbing alloy. In addition, plural spaces 4 in the honeycomb construction 3 are filled up with the fine powder of the hydrogen absorbing alloy, and both the ends of the honeycomb construction 3 are equipped with a filter 5 respectively so as to prevent the fine powder from falling away. Consequently, the container for the hydrogen absorbing alloy 1 occludes or blows off the hydrogen according to its cooling or heating carried out from its outside. |
