PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber compsn. having improved wear resistance and processability, by blending a rubber component composed of a polyisoprene rubber and a synthetic diene rubber or natural rubber with specified carbon black. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. rubber component obtd. by blending 4-50pts.wt. polyisoprene rubber with the balance of natural rubber and/or synthetic diene rubber excluding polyisoprene rubber is blended with 20-80pts.wt. carbon black having the following physical properties as a reinforcing agent. Said carbon black has a nitrogen adsorption surface area (N2SA) of 146-159m<2>/g and the relationship represented by the formula S<=0.37Dn+0.69, wherein Dn is the arithmetic average particle size in mmu measured with an electron microscope and S is the breadth in mmu of the distribution. The tinting power (tinting value) of carbon black is in the range of pref. 124-141.
