PURPOSE:To provide a destaticizer near an image carrier as much as possible so as to reduce the power consumption of an image forming device, by assembling the destaticizer in a cartridge under a condition where the destaticizer is united with the image carrier integrally. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device 1, in which an image carrier 3 and a charger 4 and remaining toner removing device 8 which are provided around the carrier 3 are assembled in a cartridge 15 under a condition where they are united integrally and the cartridge 15 is housed in the device main body freely attachably and detachably, a destaticizer 7 which is provided in the vicinity of the image carrier 3 is also assembled in the cartridge 15 integrally. When the destaticizer 7 is also housed in the cartridge 15, the destaticizer 7 can be installed closely to a photosensitive drum 3 and, therefore, a small light quantity is sufficient.
