PURPOSE:To easily project various kinds of data, by picking up the image of an original with an image detector, fetching the image by a microprocessor as an electronic graphic image, sending projecting image signals to a liquid crystal plate by combining inputted characters and graphics, and forming the image of the original on a screen by transmitting light. CONSTITUTION:The image of an original 15 is picked up with an image detector 16 and the video signals are fetched by a microprocessor 17 a an electric graphic image. Then, characters, etc., are inputted to the microprocessor 17 as occasion demands from an input device 13 and the inputted characters, etc., are combined at the microprocessor 17. Projecting image signals obtained by the combination are sent to the liquid crystal plate 9 of a projector section 1 and displayed on the liquid crystal plate 9. The light of a light source 3 passes through the liquid crystal plate 9 and a desired projecting image if formed on a screen after the light is reflected by a mirror 11.
