PURPOSE:To improve automatically carrying efficiency by traveling a carrier car again in a prescribed stop position direction to stop it after traveling it forward or backward by a previously fixed distance when it stops with a dislocation from a prescribed stop position. CONSTITUTION:When a light beam projected from a stop position detector 2 is not reflected by a reflecting plate 4 and that the carrier car 1 is not stopped on a regular position is proved in spite of the stop of the carrier car 1, a backward or forward traveling command is outputted from a traveling control part 5 and the carrier car 1 travels backward or forward. Since pulse signals are sent from a pulse encoder 9 to the control part 5, the prescribed number of pulse signals is counted to prove the backward or forward traveling of the fixed distance and stop the carrier car 1. When a traveling command is outputted again from the control part 5 to a driving circuit 6 after moving the carrier car 1 by the fixed distance, the carrier car 1 travels forward or backward against the original movement, and when stop on the prescribed stop position is detected by the stop position detector 2, the control of the stop operation is completed.
